FAQ 2026 Schedule Change

Our church has grown significantly over the past year. Praise God! But with growth comes responsibility. For our church to continue thriving in health and spiritual maturity, we need everyone to play their part. Every believer has a role in helping FBCTC reach, disciple, and serve others well.

That’s why, beginning in January 2026, we’re making a few important adjustments to our Sunday morning schedule. These changes will help us make room for more people to worship with us, connect in Bible study, and serve in the church.

The New Schedule

8:15 AM – Early Risers Adult Bible Study (no childcare)

9:30 AM – Worship & Bible Study for all ages

11:00 AM – Worship & Adult Bible Study

This new schedule will help us create more room for new Bible study classes; provide more space in our worship services; open up greater opportunities to serve; and continue reaching and discipling more people for Christ.

  • Kid’s Ministry:
Our children will have Bible Study at 9:30 a.m. and Kid’s Church at 11:00 a.m. The big change is that parents will check in their kids upon arrival on Sunday mornings and leave them in our children’s ministry until they are picked up at the end of the service. Parents will no longer need to pick up their children after Bible Study and bring them into the service.

During Kid’s Church, children will participate in Kid’s Praise and Worship, led by their own dedicated worship band every week. This allows our kids to experience a full time of worship that is specifically designed for them.

The exception is on Communion Sundays. On these days, we encourage parents to have their children attend the main worship service with them. During the other hour (when parents are in Bible Study), children may still check into the children’s ministry.

    Youth Ministry:
Our youth will have Bible Study at 9:30 a.m. and will attend the main worship service together at 11:00 a.m. We encourage youth to sit together in the service when parents are comfortable with it. Youth leaders will sit among and around them during worship to provide supervision and support.

  • Over the past two years, our church has experienced significant growth, both numerically and spiritually. We praise God for that! But with growth comes the need for more space and opportunities for connection. In fact, we have run out of space for our Bible Study Groups to meet. This new schedule allows us to make room for more people to worship with us, join Bible studies, and serve together without overcrowding or limiting ministry.

  •  Yes! Children can be checked into our Kid’s Ministry when they arrive at either 9:30 a.m. or 11:00 a.m. Kids will remain with our Kid’s Ministry until parents pick them up to go home. On Communion Sundays, we encourage children to attend the main worship service with their parents.

Parents, please know that we have incredible discipleship ministries for your kids to grow in the Lord. They attend Small Group Bible Studies from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM and have Kid’s Church from 11:00 AM to 12:15 AM. Please plan to have your kids participate in both ministries. Bring them at 9:30 AM and stay for both. Not only will your kids benefit, but so will you.

  • The new Sunday morning schedule begins Sunday, January 4, 2026. Between now and then, we’re encouraging everyone to find a Bible study group and/or a place to serve so we can start strong in the new year.

  • Here’s the new Sunday morning schedule starting January 4th:

    • 8:15 AM – Early Adult Bible Study (no childcare)
    • 9:30 AM – Worship & Bible Study for all ages
    • 11:00 AM – Worship & Adult Bible Study
  • Absolutely! Many serving teams work on a rotation, which means that you would serve 1 or 2 times a month. On the weeks you do not serve, you can be part of your Bible Study Group. We also offer an 8:15 AM Early Risers Adult Bible Study and several Wednesday evening studies, so there are plenty of ways to stay connected and growing while serving faithfully.

  • Our area of greatest need is our Kid’s Ministry. To effectively minister to our children, we need all hands on deck. The more Kid’s Ministry leaders we have, the more effective we can be.

Here is a list of the current needs:

          Kid’s Ministry - 10-12 people needed.

          Audio/Visual Tech - 4-6 people needed.

          Greeters/Ushers - 6-8 people needed.

Coffee Team - 6-8 people needed.

Safety Team - 4-6 people needed.

  • You’re welcome to attend either the 9:30 AM or 11:00 AM worship service. The service content will be identical. We recommend finding a Bible Study Group and/or serving role and attend the worship service that accommodates it.

  • We’ll have info tables in the foyer on November 9th and 16th where you can meet group leaders, learn more about classes, and sign up. You can also visit our website for a full list of Bible studies, class descriptions, and meeting times. There’s a place for everyone, from young adults to senior adults, and everything in between.

  • Both worship services will be the same in music, message, and atmosphere. Our goal is to maintain the same warm, Christ-centered worship service no matter which hour you attend.

  • Some groups will remain at the same time, while others are adjusting to fit the new schedule. Your group leader or ministry team leader will communicate any time changes directly. You can also check the updated group list on our website to confirm your new meeting time.

  •  No. Wednesday night ministries, including children’s, youth, and adult Bible studies, will continue as scheduled. This new Sunday schedule is focused solely on Sunday mornings.

  •  We would love for you to serve! Please fill out our Serve Form by clicking here. We can connect you with the right team and provide any training you may need.

  • Absolutely! We encourage you to visit different Bible studies to find the one that best fits your schedule, stage of life, and learning style. You are welcome to attend as many as you need before deciding.

  • Our Bible Studies and Worship services are 75 minutes long.

  • Yes! Coffee and fellowship will continue in the common areas between Bible Study and worship, giving everyone a chance to connect.

  •  We understand that schedules vary. You are welcome to attend whichever service or Bible study works best for you. Children’s Ministry will still accommodate check-in at either hour. You can also access sermons online if you are unable to attend.
