• MAKE. EQUIP. SEND.

We envision building a Kingdom legacy that lasts for centuries by being a biblically grounded church that is focused on building God’s Kingdom through cultivating growth in disciples of Jesus, equipping them for ministry, and sending them on mission wherever God calls them. We desire to see individuals, families, and communities transformed by Christ as we labor toward gospel saturation in Galveston County and beyond. By 2035, we hope to have equipped over 1,000 disciples through our Equip Pathway, reached over 10,000 individuals with the gospel, revitalized or planted 5 domestic churches, sent 5 long-term missionaries to the nations, and revitalized or planted 10 native-led foreign churches.

    • Make, equip, and send disciples of Jesus in Galveston County and to the ends of the Earth.
    • Missional Verse: Matthew 28:19-20 - “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
  • Biblically Grounded

    • We love God’s Word, seek to know God’s Word, are conformed to God’s Word, and teach God’s Word. Everything we do and teach is grounded in Biblical truth.
    • 2 Timothy 3:15-16, John 17:17, Hebrews 4:12

    Kingdom focused

    • We are focused on building God’s Kingdom, not our own. We labor to reach the lost, equip disciples, and send disciples on mission, even if it costs us greatly.
    • Matthew 6:33, Matthew 24:14

    Cultivating growth

    • We never “arrive” as disciples, but always have room to grow, mature, learn, and improve. As disciples, we seek to submit every facet of life to Christ’s authority and grow by the power of the Holy Spirit.
    • Ephesians 4:15-16, 1 Timothy 4:7-8, 2 Peter 3:18, Romans 12:2, Hebrews 10:24-25

    Equipping Disciples

    • Every disciple is called to be a minister of the gospel and make disciples of Jesus. We seek to equip disciples for that work in their home, church, and world.
    • Ephesians 4:11-13, 2 Timothy 2:1-2, Ephesians 2:10

    Sent on mission

    • When disciples accept Jesus, they accept the call to join in His mission. God strategically sends every disciple into the world to make disciples of Him. Or, as we like to say, everyone is sent.
    • Matthew 28:19-20, John 20:21, Romans 10:14-15
