Tracy Cox, rooted ministry leader

Tracy Cox loves Jesus and is honored to be

called a child of God. She has served in various roles in ministry, both vocationally and non-vocationally since 2004. Vocationally, she served in both children’s and student ministries at Sagemont Church. Tracy and her family moved to Texas City and joined First Baptist Church Texas City in 2023.

Tracy is married to Eddie, and the Lord has blessed them with ten children, five biological children, and five adopted children. Tracy loves homeschooling and spending time with her family and finds great joy in being a Nana to her awesome grandchildren. She also enjoys road trips, the beach, Tex-Mex, cooking, and according to her family, she makes the BEST cookies ever.

She enrolled in the church’s discipleship class, Equip Pathway, and it was during this class she felt the Lord calling her to women’s ministry. Tracy believes women’s ministry is important to the church because it provides a place for women to grow, learn from, and encourage one another.
